Students will have the opportunity to both backpack and canoe deep into the Yellowstone backcountry. We will learn firsthand about one of our nation's most precious ecosystems. Students will explore and study the diverse plant and animal life that makes this area so unique. We have always had wonderful opportunities watching wolves and bears and visiting some geothermal features.
The cost of the trip is $450.00 per student. The price covers all food, travel, camp site fees, and equipment rental expenses. While students will not need to bring any additional money on the trip, they will need to provide their own camping gear. Those accepted to go on the trip will be provided a detailed packing list.
We will depart on August 5th and will return on the evening of August 9th. We eagerly look forward to a truly amazing trip.
