History

Carden Memorial School was established in 1969 by Anna Lou and Donald Jeffs and is founded on the teaching philosophy and methods of Mae Carden, a great 20th century educator. To meet the educational needs of their children, Mrs. Jeffs started a small school in Logan, Utah. As it grew, the school relocated to Salt Lake City, and eventually moved to its current location, where it is home to pre-k through 8th grade. Mrs. Jeffs studied extensively with Mae Carden, and the Carden method and philosophy influences all that we teach and do.
