We hope you are looking forward to Carden's E Form Graduation Exercises. Here are some instructions you may find helpful:
-Please note, graduation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
-It will be held at Libby Gardner Concert Hall located in David Gardner Hall on the University of Utah campus.
-Graduates must be in the hall by 11:00 a.m. dressed and ready for rehearsal and pictures.
-Please be on time. The rehearsal will allow us time to practice the processional and recessional, arrange the on-stage seating and procedures, and rehearse all chorus numbers and other musical numbers and poetry.
-The class picture will be taken promptly at 12:00 noon on the front steps of Gardner Hall.
-Parking is available at one-hour meters or in pay lots. Day passes can be purchased at the pay lot booths. Please plan plenty of time to park.
-There is a shuttle that runs every 20 minutes from the law library to Gardner Hall.
-Parents, relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please make other arrangements for infants and children under the age of five.
Appropriate dress for the graduates:
GIRLS Pastel dresses or dressy skirts and tops -- knee length or longer, no dresses or skirts above the knee -- avoid neon colors and large prints Dresses need to cover the knees when seated Prom-style dresses are not considered appropriate -- no satin or sequins No sleeveless, spaghetti-strap or strapless dresses Dressy shoes - closed toe shoes preferred -- lower heels suggested for safety. Dressy sandals okay with a heel strap. No flip-flops or sneakers.
BOYS Suits or dress pants and blazers with conservative ties -- no neon colors White or pastel shirts -- no black or navy blue Dress shoes -- absolutely no sneakers -- formal length socks, dark colors Hair neatly trimmed We encourage our guests also to honor this special occasion by dressing appropriately. This will be a lovely occasion, and we'd like everyone to look and feel their best.
